US Dollar against Khmer Riels, Rate at Shop, Restaurants, Hotel are approximately around 4,000 Riels/ USD. While you could get slightly more up to almost 4,150 Riels/ USD.  You can do the exchange in many places outside the banks and they are located almost everywhere near the markets. 

In the money changer counters, there is always a displayed board of money exchange rate which you could see exactly the rate against 1 Dollars. In this private changer counters are widely accepted most currencies from everywhere around the world and most of the time the rate are much better than the banks.
